Deciding what to decide.

Do we really choose to choose?

The one thing in this world that I cannot decide is, what to decide. As tricky as this statement looks like, its pretty straightforward. The whole idea behind the decision making process is finding an ideal option, an alternative. Obviously, there are many factors on the basis of which a person makes a decision. For example, a person who is well off might make decision on the basis of what is the best they can get but on the other hand a person who is financially stricken might make a decision on the basis of what is the most affordable thing. At this point, we are clear that we do make a decision on the basis of some factors but do we really make that decision? I mean do we actually decide to decide? Do we actually choose to choose?

To understand this more proficiently, we can think of it this way that when we make a decision or we choose something, although we do decide what we want but do we actually decide what we want to decide. I mean the decision of deciding what to decide is really in not our hands.

I can explain this in the most basic way by telling you that I didn’t choose to choose to write this blog.

From this point on, we might start thinking the existence of our being and start evaluating each and every decision that we have made so far. We might ask this question to ourselves that if this is true, then have we ever made a decision ourselves? This thought will be inevitable and will run in a loop if we give it the power to do that. But in the end, it all depends on what you believe and how you see this world that how will things turn out to be for you.
